It's One of "Those" Days...

I woke up feeling like I was covered in cement. After a time, I got out of bed, but there's not much else that I will be able to do today. So this is the end of this post.

  1. I hear ya, Sista Sledge. I hafta get checked for a bladder infection tomorrow (I'm pretty certain that's what it is....4 days now of lead left leg and torso, numb right hand, burning pelvis, and the infamous "hug." All old symptoms, but raging.) Frustrating and I'm looking for the ol' cane.

I think of lead instead of cement for some reason. Now I'm imagining being laid in cement (could probably happen here..)

  2. It must be going around. So sorry Joan that you are stuck in stone. Jen, you too? Hope you get to be feeling better soon. I vote for UTI.

I'll be getting the phone call tomorrow letting me know if I get hooked up with IVSM or with big dog antibiotics. My gut tells me it'll be IVSM.

  3. Oh Jen and Lisa, I'm sad to hear about both of you!

  4. Hi Joan,

I've been trying to get in touch with some bloggers in the MS community who keep very current blogs and are interested in keeping their readers up-to-date. I work with a company who's developing a treatment for Secondary Progressive MS. It's in Phase III trials, but looks promising. Injections only twice a year and it has been showed to delay progression of the disease. The MS Community is really active online, and thought your blog viewers might like to hear about it. If you're interested, I can send you some info on it. Thanks. My e-mail is:

  5. UPDATE: I got the phone call from my Infusion Nurse. My response - "so I guess I've got my answer." Yes the urine was fine.

I'm going in right now for the first of five days IVSM. Let the fun begin (all sarcasm intended).

  6. Lisa, hang in there! I'll be thinking about you.
